'Mexican Drug Cartels' Snopes.com And The Devastating And Deadly Wine Country Fires - Fusion Laced Illusions

It could be months before fire investigators are in a position to figure out what triggered the destructive and fatal Wine Country fires. But that didn’t prevent various alternative news sites from weighing in with theories about causes, even as firefighters are still working to contain the fires.
Fact-checking website Snopes has put in their two cents in on one popular rumor: that the fires were “started by Mexican drug cartels in order to gain a strategic advantage over the legal marijuana industry.”
Need I remind everybody everyone that Snopes.com is a liberal website from 1994. The blog claims to be the internet’s oldest and most popular fact-checking site. Last year, Snopes Co-Founder was incriminated of embezzling company money, and spending it on prostitutes.
