While in his opening monologue on Monday evening’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel made several fake or deceptive statements about gun laws as component of a push to disgrace Congress into enacting elevated gun control measures subsequent Sunday’s attack on a country music concert in Las Vegas that left 59 folks dead and hundreds more injured.
As luck would have it, he did this after confessing that the Las Vegas attacker complied with all gun controls in buying a variety of firearms- which means he passed background checks for those guns. Furthermore, Kimmel even confessed that the attacker had “no criminal record,” and thus, nothing to keep him from passing a check to obtain a gun.
