The NFL has become more controversial than ever since former 49ers player Colin Kaepernick decided to kneel during the National Anthem. Democrats are now stepping forward to make extremely inappropriate requests to the rest of the NFL.
Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) took to Twitter to express her faux outrage and demands to the NFL. Her tweet reads, “On Sunday, I hope every @NFL player takes a knee in solidarity w @Kaepernick7 against the white supremacist who squats in our White House.” Not only is it disturbing that she would call for everyone in the NFL to kneel during the national anthem, but it is also disturbing that she would imply that a “white supremacist” is allowed to “squat” in the White House.It would appear that Edwards is responding to President Trump’s speech at a rally for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange. Trump’s speech was seen by many, and of course, demonized by the Left.
