Alarming Report: Criminals, Pedophiles & Foreign Agents Had Top Secret National Security Clearance (Videos) | Alternative: Federal government contractors, which include defense contractors for the Department of Defense (DOD), need to have national security clearance.
The FBI is accountable for vetting government contractors, by looking into applicants’ criminal background, financial records and foreign contacts.
But a new DOD report discovered that in the last 3 years, 165 government contractors with felonies, influences from foreign governments, suspicious financial dealings, and even pedophilia were given national security clearance and as a result, had connection to top secret information.
